Slim Goodbody’s Daily Almanac
Jump start the school day with the online straming program, Slim Goodbody’s Daily Almanac. This fact-filled, educational series that is hosted by Slim Goodbody will stimulate students and support teaching objectives in social studies, language arts, health, science, math, civics, and character education.
These five-minute streamed programs each contain five unique, short segments that will stimulate your students’ thinking and support teaching objectives in social studies, language arts, science, math, civics and character education. Using music, archival visuals, original artwork, photos, and animation, the information is presented in lively format for students in grades K-5. Also recommended for use by older special needs students.
Each daily program runs approximately five minutes and contains five unique segments:
• This Day in History (Social Studies)
• Word of the Day (Language Arts)
• Extremes (Science)
• Health Tips (Health)
• We the People (Civics and Character) or Earth Alert (Environment)
The new programs – one for every day – are loaded with high-interest information presented in a lively format that combines music, archival visuals, original artwork, photos, and animation — all available from the Web!
