Teacher Training Institute:

Are you passionate about teaching?  Do you support integrating the arts, history, and culture in the classroom?  Do you use technology in your classroom?  If so, apply for a Master Teacher position!

Prairie Public will host a Teacher Training Institute (TTI) in June of 2010 on integrating local arts, culture, and history into cross-curricular areas, while utilizing video and technology. This will be an intensive training, tailored for educators in the prairie region and will be lead by veteran teachers who will be trained to become Master Teachers.

Upcoming Events:

February 15 - Master Teacher Applications due for Teacher Training Institute.

February 17 - Local PBS TeacherLine classes begin:

- Using Assessment and Evaluation

- Math in Everyday Life for Grades K-5

March 19 - PBS Kids GO! Writer’s Contest deadline.

April 10 - Week of the Young Child kick-off event at West Acres 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

May 15 - Fargo Share-A-Story event at Rheault Farm 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
