502 Picture Perfect: the Art of Illustration Illustrations
in children's books make reading fun by bringing the words on a page to
life. Vivid images of a character or place add to the magic of a story
and allow children to expand their imagination. Hear interviews with popular
children's illustrators as they discuss the basic elements of illustrating
a book and find out how to incorporate art into your literacy activities.
503 Writing Matters: Children as Authours —
Children learn to do their best writing when they know it is for an
