Now, you can take an informative and entertaining look at the dancing, singing, regalia, and spiritual essence of the powwow that makes it one of the prairie regions truly rich cultural experiences.
Includes footage of powwows at Red Lake, Leech Lake, and Ball Club along with performances by the Eyabay Singers from Red Lake with lead singer Lee Lussier, Jr.
Mens Traditional Dancers feature John and Jay Barrett from Ponemah. Mens Grass Dancers are Frank Defoe from Red Lake and Andrew Jackson of Inger. Womens Jingle Dancers feature Clara, Selma, Norma, and Tarah Jackson of Inger and Carol Barrett of Pohemah.
