4 What's Under My Bed? — Grandpa tells his two young house guests about the time he was afraid of the dark and about other figments of his imagination. Wonderfully humorous and perfect for Halloween. (7:56) Teacher Guide

5 A Dark, Dark Tale — Each step is more tantalizing than the one before on a spooky journey up dark stairways and through hidden passages. Being scared has never been more fun! (3:39) Teacher Guide

6 Georgie— A friendly ghost looks for a new house to haunt when he feels unwanted by the Whittaker family. (6:00) Teacher Guide

7 By the Light of the Halloween Moon— Join the fun, as a brave young girl, who would rather play a trick than be gobbled up as a treat, is the star of this spirited romp under an old wooden bridge by the light of the spooky Halloween moon. (6:20) Teacher Guide

8 Three Robbers — A little girl named Tiffany sets three robbers straight, turning their gold to good. (5:40) Teacher Guide

9 Giving Thanks: A Native American Good Morning Message — Known as the Thanksgiving Address, this Native American good morning message is based on the belief that the natural world is a precious and rare gift -- from the moon and the stars to the tiniest blade of grass. (7:45) Teacher Guide

10 Max's Christmas —Irrepressible Max wants to stay up late on Christmas so he can see Santa Claus. (4:50) Teacher Guide

11 Seven Candles for Kwanzaa —This unique African-American holiday commemorates the strength of family ties, respect for ancestors, commitment to the growth of community, and gratitude for life's bounties. For each day of Kwanzaa, a new candle is lit and children and adults share their thoughts, songs, stories from the past, dreams about the future, and a delicious feast on the last day. 12 In the Month of Kislev — This is the story of a Polish community preparing for the celebration of Hanukkah. One day, the children of a poor family stop under the window of a wealthy family in town, and thoroughly enjoy the aroma of potato pancakes cooking in the Kitchen. The children do this every day, until the owner of the house discovers them. Angrily, the owner brings the children and their parents to the local Rabbi and insists on being paid by the family for the enjoyment the children have been getting. The story ends with a wise and creative solution offered by the Rabbi.(11:30) Teacher Guide

13 Morris's Disappearing Bag — Morris impresses his older sibilings when he opens the last box under the Christmas tree-- and disappears. (6:45) Teacher Guide

14 The Night Before Christmas —One of the most beloved Christmas traditions, the story of Santa's visit on a snowy Christmas Eve, is beautifully brought to life with exquisite illustrations and festive music. No detail is missing -- not even the mouse! (5:20) Teacher Guide


15 The Clown of God— Giovanni, a once-famous juggler now old and penniless, gives one last, unforgettable performance on Christmas Eve. (10:11) Teacher Guide

16 Twelve Days of Christmas— The lovely old rhyme about a whole menagerie of gifts to someone's true love, is sung with wit and grace. (8:14) Teacher Guide

17 Sam and the Lucky Money — This Chinese New Year, Sam's parents tell him that he may spend his "luck" money on anything he wants. When he arrives at the festivities in Chinatown, many nice things tempt him. But a homeless man without shoes or socks helps Sam decide on the best way of all to spend his "lucky" money. 18 Zlateh the Goat— With the holiday season approaching, poor Reuven, the furrier, has no recourse but to sell the family's beloved goat for supplies. But Aaron has other ideas. (21:09) Teacher Guide
