Teacher's Guide

For Our Students, For Ourselves is a comprehensive set of materials to facilitate the development of skills and knowledge needed to be a successful learner and a successful teacher in the 21st century. This 4-part program profiles three high schools that are tackling this issue using instructional strategies contained in the Learner-Centered Psychological Principles. The schools show how their teaching and learning have become individualized, show mutual respect, demonstrate personal connections, provide ownership and responsibility, and emphasize relevance. The sixty minute program is divided into four sections.
