Why do you air a block feed of educational programs?
We purchase the rights to supplemental classroom programs, so you can record these programs and keep them to use in your lesson planning from year to year. You automatically get the rights to use these materials and programs without having to worry about copyright issues if your school is a member.
What happens when you discontinue programs?
In some cases those programs will no longer be protected from copyright issues, and you will be legally obligated to erase your copy of the program.  In other cases you will be able to retain the program for the life of your recording.  Specific information can be found in the Dropped Programs list.
Where are the current events programs?
Teen Kids News airs every Tuesday at 6:00 AM and Assignment: The World airs every Thursday at 6:00 AM. Please record these programs at 6:00 AM to use at your convenience.
How can I receive a schedule of the Block Feed?
In addition to being posted on the website, the Block Feed schedule is included in our monthly e-Newsletter. To receive monthly updates directly to your email address, sign up for our newsletter. You can also view our Lifelong Learning Channel.

Episodes of the following programs are currently guaranteed to air at least once a year on either the block feed or Lifelong Learning Channel. They may be recorded and retained for educational use as long as this guarantee remains in place.

* Alan Alda in Scientific American Frontiers
* Dragonfly TV
* Wishbone

Most education programs aired on the Block Feed are also available from the Lending Library!
