PBS Kids GO! Writers Contest

It’s time to create your stories for the 2014 PBS Kids Go! Writers Contest! The contest is open to K-3 students who want to write and illustrate their own stories, and the deadline for submissions is April 11, 2014.

Begin by clicking and downloading the 2014 Entry Form and 2014 Contest Rules. You may also call our office at 800-359-6900 to receive copies of the documents.

A special resource collection on PBS LearningMedia is helpful for teachers as they work with students to brainstorm story ideas, hone writing skills, and prepare contest entries.
• To access worksheets, a writing guide, and related worksheets, visit the PBS KIDS Writers Contest resource page and select “student handout.”
• To learn about more about the PBS KIDS Writers Contest, submit a story, read winning entries, and try out the story mash-up tool, visit pbskids.org/writerscontest.

Congratulations to these 2013 regional winners! Read their stories here.
