Image Makers

It (A web page) can be a starting point for some businesses that do not have a real outward image.

The image that you have of your company on the web site is so very important. It's not one that you want to come in on a haphazard type of a situation.

It's my belief that web sites are for businesses that want to grow. If you're not interested in growth, don't have one. Because web sites will usher in a new thing for you to deal with and to work on, if your not committed its going to be more of an embarrassment to you than it is going to be a success.

Looking back at the history of things back in '95 and early '96 when web sites were being developed for prominent very big name businesses, you look back at that and compare it to what they have evolved into now. There's a reason why there's that evolution of the site, of their image and so forth on the web, and it largely deals with making sure they stay ahead of their competition, and making sure their sales increase, making sure their customer satisfaction is up to par. They basically tell me who their market is, and they let me know whom they want to attract with that.

The image that they want on their site has to put out a service that is going to tell the people that it is better than the rest, that it is friendlier and faster than the rest, those type of things. The number one thing that a company has to consider (when looking at its image) is it has to be not on the web, not on a print brochure, not on a TV ad, it has to be company wide. To think if it just as a component level, a piece within a marketing plan will not do you justice, people can see through that pretty easily.
