Yes there is a Wine Vineyard in North Dakota!! Red Trail Vineyard is located about 30 miles west of Fargo along I-94. Visitors take the Ayr exit, then go 2 miles North. Brothers Rodney and Steve Hogen started the Vineyard on their family farm two years ago and they are already seeing it pay off. Growing grapes isn't easy and it requires a fairly steep learning curve. One of the most popular things Rodney and Steve offer is a tour of the Vineyard coupled with Wine tasting at their cozy Wine building next to the Vineyard. Steve says most people have still never heard of the Vineyard and gradually they are getting the word out to the public. "I'll say I'm going to work at the Vineyard, and the person will say 'what vineyard' and I'll say 'the Wine vineyard in Buffalo' and they'll say 'Buffalo, North Dakota?"
