Community support/isolation

Isolation is one of the great things North Dakota has going for it in terms of eco tourism. However, isolation isn’t as desirable when it’s time to gather data, evaluate resources, and implement a marketing plan. Among the most important things you can do to assure that your community, your restaurant, and your eco tourism site are all successful is to work together. That could mean organizing into a cohesive group locally. It could mean attending regional conferences and visiting other eco tourism sites. It could be as simple as going on line to search out eco tourism resources and to participate in meaningful bulletin boards. Other rural areas are "connecting" within their communities and within the eco tourism industry. North Dakota can connect too.
