a parent, Patti Dahl experienced the trials, the frustrations,
and the stigma. But she's learned that as the child adjusts
to this problem, so does the family.
Teens with ADD/ADHD Adolescence
is a difficult time in any child's life. But for Mallory Gibbons,
she struggled in a fog of inattention, hyperactivity and frustration.
That is, until she was diagnosed with ADHD three years ago.
Now, this Red River High sophomore sees her future in a sharper,
clearer focus.
Adults with ADD/ADHD It
wasn't until social worker Deb DeWitz had trouble finishing
her PhD that she was diagnosed with ADHD. The Minot mother
of three now makes her living using the same thing that got
her into trouble as a kid: talking too much. As a public speaker,
Deb tells audiences that Attention Deficit Disorder can be
a blessing in disguise.
