About This Program   Healthworks: Asthma was broadcast live on Prairie Public Wednesday September 30 at 7:00 pm CT. In this hour long live broadcast, host Doug Hamilton and a panel of medical experts will talk about this misunderstood condition and field questions from viewers about: the most recent advances in medical treatment the links between allergies and asthma how parents can help their children control asthma symproms and improve their quality of life the special concers of older adults who develop this breathing condition practical, common sense advice about reducing the frequency of asthma attacks.
