Asthma
affects one out of 14 children in America. Sara Wohl felt
that her son Cameron's constant respiratory infections were
caused by more than just the normal childhood virus -- but
she and her husband were not prepared for the idea that
their young toddler had asthma.
Asthma
runs in Jen Ulstad's family but she still didn't recognize
the warning signs in herself. It wasn't until it began to
affect her basketball that she sought treatment -- but now
with aggressive treatment her asthma is under control and
she's running down the court to another basketball season
with her coach's blessing.
Although
the onset of asthma is most common before the age of 40, it
can affect anyone anytime. Donna and Bob Froelich are two
seniors who enjoy an active life full of golf and all the
other things they love thanks to treatment and a recognition
of the triggers of their asthma.
