Panelist Profiles
"Depression" will be hosted by Doug Hamilton and features a panel of medical experts who will discuss the health concerns associated with depression. During the program, the panel answered live telephone calls from viewers across the prairie with questions about depression. The program also included profiles of people who have struggled with depression in their life and how they have overcome it.

Doug Hamilton is a respected journalist familiar to Fargo-Moorhead area viewers. As the host of this Healthworks special, Doug will exam how attitudes toward aging are changing and the practical, common sense people can take to keep fit and feel well.
Dr. Emmet Kenney
Dr. Emmet Kenney is a psychiatrist with Prairie Psychiatric
Center specializing. in the treatment of children and
adolescents. But as Dr. Kenney will tell you, depression can
affect anyone of any age.
Deonne Varriano
Deonne Varriano is a social worker with the Southeast Human
Service Center. The Human Service Centers in North Dakota
are funded by the Legislature and is mandated to provide
services to all citizens of the state who may not otherwise
be able to afford care.
Ann Cushing
Ann Cushing is a nurse practitioner with Meritcare
Clinic. Ann works with the elderly in nursing homes -- one
of the most at risk populations for depression
