A Special
Request
Can you help an ADA office rebuild its summer
camp program after the Red River flood
disaster?
The North Dakota affiliate office of the
American Diabetes Association was destroyed by a
fire which raged through 3 city blocks in downtown
Grand Forks during the recent flood. Everything was
lost, including all its records and equipment.
While the office is in need of everything from
paper clips to copy machines, its first priority is
to replace the supplies and equipment it needs to
hold this year's Camp Sioux, the free summer camp
program for children with diabetes.
The office is seeking donations of the items in
the list below so that it can continue to provide
this valuable program for children. Donations
should be sent to the ND office of the American
Diabetes Association at PO Box 5234, Grand Forks,
ND 58206-5234. For more information, phone
1-800-666-6709 or you can send e-mail to
kstenehj@pol.org and it will be forward to the
office staff.
