There is nothing that so delights a mother or father as a happy, grinning, healthy kid; and nothing that so terrifies the heart as a child that is feverish or lethargic, or otherwise "not themselves". And even a well child will occasionally give pause -- regarding eating habits, sleeping patterns, or myriad other behavioral or discipline issues.

This HealthWorks site focuses on Kids' Health issues from birth through the pre-school years. It provides basic information about common illnesses, behavioral and safety issues, and discipline to aid parents in their efforts to discern when and how to deal with the medical and developmental milestones of early childhood.

This web site is the companion to the Healthworks special Kids Health. This program is a local production of Prairie Public Television. The production is funded by Dakota Medical Foundation and viewers like you.

This Healthworks: Kids Health web site was developed as a service.
