Prairie Public Television's locally-produced documentary, "The New Pioneers" looks at the immigrant experience and compares historical immigrant experiences to today's. Prairie Public seeks stories, photos, letters and personal testimonies about the challenges and triumphs of building a life in a new, unfamiliar culture. Stories and narratives submitted will be included in the Immigrant Letters and Immigrant Photo Album sections of this web site. See how the stories of the early pioneers and our "new pioneers" correspond. How are the stories the same? How are they different? Prairie Public is seeking historical documents and narratives as well as contemporary stories that answer those questions.
