PBS and its nearly 360 member stations are a trusted and valued public institution, America’s largest classroom, the nation’s largest stage for the arts and a trusted window to the world-all at the cost of about $1 per person per year in federal funds.
For the eighth consecutive year, the American public has rated PBS the most trustworthy institution amoung nationally know organizations and an excellent use of tax dollars.
