Fargo, N.D., January 30, 2014 — “Antiques Roadshow,” PBS’s most-watched primetime series, will roll into Bismarck on May 31 to tape a show and appraise North Dakota’s antiques.
Admission to the “Antiques Roadshow” event is free, and everyone admitted may bring two items for appraisal, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. Three thousand tickets will be awarded by random drawing.
In each city it visits, “Antiques Roadshow” also seeks furniture to appraise and display on the set—and will transport the furniture to the event and back at no cost to the owner.
Ticket applications and complete ticketing and furniture submission rules are available at pbs.org/antiques or at 1-888-762-3749. Ticket applications must be received by Monday, April 7, 2014.
Part adventure, part history lesson, part treasure hunt, 11-time Emmy® Award nominated “Antiques Roadshow” is about to begin its 18th broadcast season and is the top-rated ongoing primetime PBS series. The show airs on Prairie Public on Mondays at 7 pm CT.
