Scientists, religious leaders, politicians and the general public gathered July 10th and 11th at the University of Mary for the Prairie Climate Stewardship Conference. The conference opened up a dialogue about issues associated with climate change. Below are recordings of speeches from the conference.

Charles (Chuck) Rice - Soil scientist at Kansas State University, Member of Group that won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Steve Brick - Manager of the environment program at the Joyce Foundation,

Congressman Pomeroy, Senator Conrad and Senator Dorgan - Speaking on alternative energy and environmental policies via satellite from Washington, D.C.

Jeffrey Phillips - Senior Program Manager at the Advanced Generation at Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) talks about geological Carbon Capture and Sequestration technology.

Betsy Engelking- Manager of Resource and Planning at Xcel Energy talks about wind energy in North Dakota.

Scott Handy - CEO of Cass County Electric speaking on the benefits of energy conservation.

Dale Enerson - Director of the National Farmers Union Carbon Credit Program talks about no-till farming and carbon credits.

Niles Hushka - CEO of engineering firm Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson

Josh Gackle - Senior Policy Advisor for Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty

Dave Miller - Director of research and commodity services for the Iowa Farm Bureau and Chief Science Officer for AgraGate Climate Credits Corporation.
