Some North Dakotans have formed a new organization, The
Prairie Climate Stewardship Network. In brief, they say: the
Prairie Climate Stewardship Network (PCSN) is an ecumenical effort to
nurture climate stewardship through building a network of those who are
concerned about climate change and interested in taking one or more steps
towards practicing good climate stewardship.
They presented a conference
, now concluded, and asked us if we were interested in covering the issues
of concern to them. We knew that these issues are of great interest to
you every time we talk about them on the air, we get a lot of favorable
comments. They offered to help us find some funding, which we agreed to
as long as we could be editorially independent. We did get funding, from
The Energy Foundation.
Below you can see some essays that we recorded -- some from people attending
the conference, others from people interested in the issues.
