"Lynn Anderson Rose Garden"

I beg your pardon…isn’t that Lynn Anderson?

(Song insert…”I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, there’s got to be a little rain sometime”)

Born September 26th, 1947 to country-western songwriters Casey and Liz Anderson in Grand Forks, Lynn Anderson was raised in California where she began performing at the age of six. Lynn’s most successful song, “Rose Garden” went number one on the country charts on this date, February 3, 1971. The song was such a hit that the American Rose Society named the “Lynn Anderson Rose” after her!
