“Growing up Rich in a Poor Family” ~ Flare Gas Project

  Tuesday, November 29 – Doris Hermundstad Liffrig has written “Growing Up Rich in a Poor Family, Childhood Memories from the Great Depression.” This illustrated book is written for young people, but appeals to readers of all ages as it captures a slice of life in North Dakota during the ‘30s. Also joining us is illustrator Melissa Gordon of Bismarck. ~~~ Cole Gustafson, NDSU department of agribusiness and applied economics, has news of a new project, in partnership with the EERC at UND – capturing flare gas in the oil fields to make anhydrous fertilizer.
