  Wednesday, November 14 – UND professor of engineering, Dr. George Bibel, has published “Train Wreck, the Forensics of Rail Disasters.” It’s a fascinating exploration of runaway trains, bearing failures, metal fatigue, crash testing, collision dynamics and bad rails. ~~~ What does the changeover from film to digital mean for the state’s small, independent movie houses? We visit with Emily Beck of the Fargo Theater, and Kirby Brandhagen, owner of the Cavalier Cinema in Cavalier, North Dakota.
