AARP Listening Session ~ Senator John Hoeven ~ Remembering the March on Washington

posted on 08/28/2013

Wednesday, August 28 –  AAPR is holding a congressional listening session tonight with Senator Hoeven. It’s part of a continuing national conversation kicked off last year. Here to tell us what they’ve learned so far is Josh Askvig, AARP’s associate state director for advocacy, and John Hishta, AARP vice president of campaigns. ~~~ Senator John Hoeven has the task of serving on the Farm Bill conference committee, a task some say can’t succeed. We’ll get his thoughts on that and more as he’s currently back in North Dakota. ~~~ The March on Washington is remembered by three members of the Minnesota delegation.
