“Symphony of the Soil” ~ “The Legend of Pierre Bottineau”

  Monday, June 17Symphony of the Soil is a two hour film that “pays loving homage to the beauty and the wondrous mystery of soil.” Filmmaker Deborah Koons Garcia is in North Dakota, hosted by FARRMS, a sustainable agriculture group based in Medina. Also joining us is Fred Kirschenmann, a Leopold Center Distinguished Fellow who farms near Windsor, ND and was an adviser for the film. A tour of his farm will also be hosted by FARRMS as part of their series of events that are underway. ~~~ Ted Stone lives on a ranch in SE Manitoba and has more than a dozen books to his credit. His latest is “The Legend of Pierre Bottineau and the Red River Trail.”
