Thursday, August 15 – Each year, UND organizes a bus tour for new faculty to help acquaint them with their new state of employment and get a better understanding of where many of their students come from. Here to tell us about this always-intriguing event are Fred Wittman, tour coordinator; and Peter Johnson, executive associate vice president for university and public affairs. ~~~ Preserving and celebrating North Dakota’s architecture, historic places, and communities is what Preservation North Dakota is all about. Joining us to discuss the organization, the issues, and some special places in the state is Susan Quinell, board president. PND’s annual conference gets underway tomorrow, with an interesting slate of speakers and tour stops. ~~~ Earlier we heard about UND’s incoming faculty touring ND.
