“The Road to Little Rock” ~ Essay: Remembering the Feminine Mystique ~ Chef Rosie on Bananas

posted on 10/10/2013

Thursday, October 10 – “The Road to Little Rock” has now debuted to glowing reviews. The film is part of an “Interactive Educational Experience” exploring the 1957 integration of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, an event involving North Dakota judge Ron Davies. The DVD is our special thank-you gift when you call in with your membership pledge during today’s show. Joining us are the producer of the film, Art Philips of Video Arts Studios; and Carl Oberholtzer, project coordinator. ~~~ As we recall many famous anniversaries this year, Kim Crowley offers an essay today on a lesser known event … the publication of “The Feminine Mystique.” ~~~ We go bananas with Chef Tim Rosendahl of Square One Kitchens. ~~~ Doug and Ashley have our “What’s Happening” calendar of events.
