Northern Plains Ethics Journal ~ Prairie Pulse Preview ~ Chef Tim Rosendahl on Soyposted on 10/24/2013
Thursday, October 24 – The Northern Plains Ethics Journal is a new peer-reviewed publication from the Northern Plains Ethics Institute at NDSU. In its inaugural publication, one of the essays comes from John Olsrud, former attorney for the ND Legislative Council, who asks, “Why would an out-of-state corporation spend thousands of dollars to send a North Dakota legislator on a trip?” Also joining us is the managing editor of the journal, Dennis Cooley, associate professor of philosophy and ethics at NDSU. The journal is online at www.northernplainsethicsjournal.com/NPEJv1n1.pdf ~~~ Clips from this week’s Prairie Pulse television show, an interview with Carol Archbold, NDSU criminal justice professor, about crime in the oil patch, and a compelling feature from producer Kim Stenehjem on Charles August Lindbergh Sr., the father of the famous aviator, and his campaign for governor of Minnesota. ~~~ Chef Tim Rosendahl of Square One Kitchens joins us to discuss soy. ~~~ Doug and Ashley have our “What’s Happening” calendar of events.
