The Institute for Philosophy in Public Life is coming to UND … and to Prairie Public. It’s a partnership of UND and the North Dakota Humanities Council. Our guests are Jack Weinstein, associate professor of philosophy at the University of North Dakota, and Brenna Daugherty, executive director for the NDHC. ~~~ Carl Pedersen of NDSU Extension says “don’t pay for an appliance twice!” We’ll hear why energy consumption should be an important part of your decision-making as you shop this Christmas season. He also has news of an upcoming renewable energy workshop in Valley City. ~~~ Tom Isern has this week’s Plains Folk column.
