“We Always Had to Sing” ~ New Americans’ Stories ~ Tony Kushner Coming to UND

  Tuesday, March 19 – Drawing upon the Dakota Memories Oral History Project we present “We Always had to Sing: German-Russian Music in the Old Days,” narrated by North Dakota State Senator Robert Erbele, who grew up in a German-Russian family on their homestead near Lehr, N.D. ~~~ Today we introduce a new series, “New Americans’ Stories” from producer Erika Lorentzen. ~~~ A preview of the UND Writers Conference from UND English department undergrad Monica Hansen as she tells us about visiting writer Tony Kushner.
