A Growing Need for Animal Rescue in ND ~ Mark Ewens on Flood Predicting

  Wednesday, April 17 – With the growing population in the state, there’s also a growing problem with abandoned pets and a growing need to care for those animals. We have two interviews, first with Dea Coyler of the MonDak Humane Society in Williston. Second, with LuAnn Hinderscheit, founder of The Lil’ Cottage Animal Rescue in Devils Lake. ~~~ Mark Ewens of the National Weather Service in Grand Forks will discuss this unusual spring and the challenges presented in predicting possible flooding. ~~~ Bruce Berg reviews Laurel Woiwode’s new novel “Past Darkness.”
