Kids Count Data Book ~ Open Meeting Laws ~ ND Towns Prepare to Grow

  Monday, June 24 – The annual Kids Count Data Book is being released today. It provides the latest national and state data on child well-being. This year, for the first time in the 24-year history of the Data Book, there is a notable change in the state rankings. Joining us are Karen Olson, ND Kids Count program director; and Ramona Danielson, ND Kids Count research analyst. ~~~ Attorney Jack McDonald joins us to discuss open meeting laws and e-mails as public records, in light of the current matter of deleted NDSU e-mails. ~~~ Ashley Thornberg checks in with Bryce Martin, editor of the The Bowman County Pioneer, to see how the oil boom is affecting the Bowman area, which expect to see growing activity. ~~~ Ron Smith, former NDSU Extension horticulturist, stops in with some timely tips as we move into summer.
