Update on the Heritage Center Expansion ~ ND Employment Update

  Wednesday, August 7 – Claudia Berg of the State Historical Society of North Dakota stops by with an update on the expansion project for the state Heritage Center. ~~~ Michael Zeisch is the manager of the Labor Market Information Center at Job Service North Dakota. He’ll tell us about the center and share some of the latest stats on the busy North Dakota labor scene. ~~~ City kids might hold car washes or bake sales to fund student activities, but in ranching country, they have their own traditions. Shanna Lewis of KRCC-FM takes us to the annual Custer County FFA Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry and Auction in Westcliffe, where everyone has a ball. ~~~ Discussion with news director Dave Thompson about Interior Secretary Sally Jewell’s visit to the state. ~~~ Commentary from Bismarck State College English professor Kim Crowley, “In Defense of Classic Literature.”
