Wednesday, October 2 – Doug Hamilton is on the campus of Minot State University. First he visits with Dan Ringrose, professor of history and chair of the Division of Social Science, regarding the upcoming Great Plains Symposium, a history conference. ~~~ Then, on this centennial year for Minot State, Doug visits with Dr. Jonathan Wagner, professor emeritus, and Mark Timbrook, instructor, department of history, who are the authors of “When Dreams Come True” the history of MSU. ~~~ Ashley visits with Amy Goyer, AARP’s home and family expert, who’s in North Dakota to present a workshop and be the keynote speaker at the Northern Plains Conference on Aging and Disabilities. ~~~ Meg Luther Lindholm has this week’s “Stand Up ND” report, a look at what schools are doing about bullying. ~~~ Scott Prebys, Prairie Public’s classical music host, calls in from a classical trip he’s hosting aboard a cruise ship on the Danube River.
