The National Soil Project ~ Stories from “Sundogs and Sunflowers” ~ Workshops: “Our People, Our Places, Our Stories”

  Wednesday, October 30 – The National Soil Project at Northeastern University is collecting and analyzing organic farm soils from all 50 States for comparison with conventional samples, and they’re looking for soil submissions. The goal is to quantify the improved health of organic soils. Joining us are Professor Geoffrey Davies and principal research scientist Elham Ghabbour. ~~~ Ashley Thornberg joins us with another story or two from the Sundogs and Sunflowers folklore collection. “The Man in the Long Coat,” “The Hailstorm,” and The Rancher and the Coyote.” ~~~ Need a kickstart for your writing project?
