Jacqueline Bussie, “Outlaw Christian” ~ Bob Boilen: “Your Song Changed My Life”

  Monday, April 18 – Jacqueline Bussie, is a professor of religion at Concordia College and the director of the Forum on Faith and Life. She joins us to discuss her new book, Outlaw Christian, Finding Authentic Faith by Breaking the “Rules.” ~~~ Free trade agreements…like the pending Trans Pacific Partnership…are controversial. But in the Midwest there’s one group that’s largely in favor: farmers and ranchers. Harvest Public Media’s Kristofor Husted tells us why. ~~~ Bob Boilen is the creator and host of NPR Music’s All Songs Considered and the Tiny Desk Concert series. His new book is titled “Your Song Changed My Life.” It’s a collection of stories from famous musicians about important moments they will never forget. ~~~ NDSU history professor Tom Isern has this week’s Plains Folk essay, “Mr. Foreman.”
