Our Family Had Fun

A blog update from Producer Bob Dambach
May 11, 2009

If we had gone to central casting in Hollywood, we could not have found a better family for the project than the Lange’s of Howard Lake MN. They were hospitable, agreeable, engaging and even cute when the situation called  for it.

Meet the Lange family

Not a bad word was muttered by the family while we intruded into their lives from sunrise to sunset for three and a half days. We videoed them getting up at the crack of dawn one morning and the next day we were with them as they went to bed. We followed them to school, to work as they made meals, as they did homework and as they interacted as a family. Best from our viewpoint- They really, really had fun.

CJ Lange became an "unofficial" member of the Prairie Public crew.

CJ and Chase became minor celebrities when we recorded them in their schools with them wearing Prairie Public Crew Shirts.

Susie works as a flight attendant for NWA/Delta; Troy works for KC Colors, a business close to home which allows him to be with the boys when Susie is working flights.

Chase works diligently on his school work while wearing his Prairie Public shirt.

CJ is 12 and in middle school and Chase is 9 and in third grade. We can’t thank them enough for allowing us into their home.
