Herd About The Prairie
In May 2006, Fargo-Moorhead residents were treated to a colorful community art project: a herd of vibrant bison statues scattered throughout the cities. Artists using a variety of mediums transformed gray fiberglass statues into beautiful works of public art. Herd About The Prairie: A Virtual Art Stampede follows the artists through the process of designing, creating, and completing the bison to produce this half-hour documentary. Celebrate the history of the region and the excitement of the future through this unique public arts project.
