North To The Mandan Nation
The North Dakota Circle of Cultures Signature Event held in Bismarck for the Lewis and Clark Bicenntennial highlighted various aspects of the thriving culture that the Lewis & Clark Expedition found as they explored the Missouri River and its tributaries. The Signature Event didn’t stop at the history, but focused on a number of comparisons between everyday life then and now.
