Leafy spurge (euphorbia esula) is difficult and costly to control with herbicides—especially for the extended period of time needed to eradicate the weed. Integrated pest management techniques using biological controls such as flea beetles and mixed species grazing offer great promise in controlling infestations of the exotic weed. "Leafy Spurge" investigates these new programs and public policies that will help combat its spread through parks, grazing lands and grasslands.
