You may search for quilts made in a particular decade, those which have a block design or are made with an overall pattern like Grandmother's Flower Garden, or for particular colors.

You may also search for a specific pattern, but keep in mind that quilt patterns have many different names depending on the part of the country in which they were made. For example, the pattern known in North Dakota as Drunkard's Path may also be called Robbing Peter to Pay Paul in other parts of the country.
