Michael Coachman added to North Dakota Governor debate hosted by Prairie Public

Michael Coachman, an independent candidate for North Dakota Governor, has been added to Prairie Public’s scheduled debate on Thursday, October 10. He will join U.S. Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R) and Sen. Merrill Piepkorn (D) in the hour-long live debate.

Prairie Public is hosting a slate of political debates leading up to the November election, sponsored by AARP North Dakota. All the debates will air live on Prairie Public’s television and radio networks, and will also be streamed live online.

North Dakota U.S. House Debate

  • Thursday, September 26, live 7-8 p.m.
  • Julie Fedorchak (R) and Trygve Hammer (D)
     

North Dakota U.S. Senate Debate

  • Wednesday, October 2, live 7-8 p.m.
  • Katrina Christiansen (D) and U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer (R)


North Dakota Governor Debate

  • Thursday, October 10, live 7-8 p.m.
  • U.S. Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R), Michael Coachman (I), and Sen. Merrill Piepkorn (D)


A fourth debate with the Minnesota 7th District Congressional candidates will be announced at a later date.

Each debate will be moderated by Prairie Public news director Dave Thompson or Prairie Public producer Matt Olien.
