Prairie Public’s 2026 midterm election coverage will feature two live political debates airing on Prairie Public’s television and radio network. The hour-long debates will also be streamed live and archived on Prairie Public’s YouTube channel.
Prairie Public invites all candidates on the ballot to participate in the debate for their respective races.
North Dakota Congressional Debate
- Thursday, October 8, 7 p.m.
- Trygve Hammer (D), Helene Neville (I), and Charles Tuttle (I)
Incumbent Rep. Julie Fedorchak (R) declined to participate in the debate.
Minnesota 7th Congressional District Debate
- Thursday, October 15, 7 p.m.
- Rep. Michelle Fischbach (R) and Erik Osberg (D)
The debates will be moderated by Prairie Public News Director Dave Thompson.
